Ever wonder what a Harley Davidson motorcycle with a turbo on it would be like? So did Suicide Machine Company co-owners and brothers Aaron and Shaun Guardado. Then they went ahead and built it.
On the newest episode of Garage Tours presented by Valvoline, Chris Forsberg visits the mad geniuses at Suicide Machine Company in Long Beach, California. He gets a full rundown of how the guys specialize in putting a unique spin on an American classic by customizing Harley-Davidson motorcycles for the racetrack. Aaron gives Chris a tour of the shop and shows off some of the more aggressive builds in progress including a Harley Hardtail Roadster with a 175 HP turbo upgrade. Burnouts and wheelies ensue as the guys test out these bikes on the streets of Long Beach.

In this episode Forsberg visits Redline Restorations in Black Rock, Connecticut, which is a high-end restoration shop focused on the European classics including Ferrari, Maserati, Aston Martin, and Bugatti.
Owned by Colton Amster, this bright brick shop prides itself on its concours-quality restorations. Our tour includes a ’37 Bugatti Type 57S, a ’39 Delage D6 race car, a ’61 Ferrari GTO and an unexpected 1970 Chrysler Hemi 'Cuda with an incredible backstory. After a behind the scenes tour of the garage, Forsberg gets behind the wheel of a Ferrari 250T (!), and then enjoys a few burnouts in a classic rear-wheel drive Fiat 500.
What a wild and lucky Sunday it was at Jeffrey's Bay in South Africa. Not only the entire surfing world, but also the entire world itself is now well aware of Mick Fanning's fighting off a great white during the final of the JBay Open and coming away physically unscathed.
If not for Fanning's quick instincts to do exactly what he needed to, and the speedy response by the Water Safety team, this would be a much harder story to digest. Easily the most witnessed shark attack in the history of human existence, Mick Fanning is clearly counting his stars today.
The World Surf League, Julian Wilson, and Mick Fanning have all decided that it was best to cancel the contest and split the points and winnings. They've felt it was no longer safe and not worth risking things after the luck they had.
Now let us not scream death to all sharks and go on manhunts. Rather, let us realize that sharks exist in their natural habitats and as surfers we will encounter them from time-to-time. In this humble writer's opinion, I do not believe the shark wanted a taste of Mr. Fanning—if he had he would've taken one and no leash (or much of anything really) would've stopped him.
There's going to be lots about this incredibly strange and incredibly fortunate event for time to come. The World Surf League now has the entire world's attention. Where they decide to go with it could shape the future of surfing as we know it.

In this episode of Garage Tours, we visit Coupe King in Long Beach, California. Coupe King is owned and operated by Peter and Erik “Slick” Sliskovich, a father and son team. It started as a hobby in the early 80s, but has since evolved into a highly recognized full-service BMW restoration and parts business. Slick shares their enormous collection of BMWs including a pair of rare orange 1971 ultralight 3.0 CSL. In the garage we see just how busy this shop is with an incredible number of full restorations in progress. Then it’s time to get behind the wheel as Forsberg takes a 1974 3.0 CS with 260 HP to the streets of Long Beach.
