Ski Video
Way to cut out the middleman
It looks like the new ski movie from the Legs of Steel team is going to be good, really good. There's pyrotechnics and a trip to Russia involved. In The Lost, skiers Thomas Hlawitschka, Paddy Graham, Bene Mayr chase down big mountain lines and street rails (but mostly big mountain lines) for their video parts, and the tricks these guys are stomping is nothing short of insane.
RIP JP Auclair and Andreas Fransson
Mmm, meaty.
Junkies on a Budget (JOB) just dropped the trailer for its new ski movie "Satori," which will be released on iTunes on October 4. The concept behind "Satori" is to have four different teams of skiers each put together a cinematic masterpiece and assemble them together into one cohesive video. The four crews are Team Lachner (Oscar Scherlin, Jonas Hunziker, Roy Kittler, and Flo Geyer), Team Seanography (Markus Eder, Roman Rohrmoser, Roy Kittler, Basti Hannemann, and Fabian Lentsch), Team PVS (Sam Smoothy, Phil Meier, and Julien Lopez), and Team Real Skifi (Juho Kilkki, Ilka Hannula, and Verneri Hannula).
