Even though we are used to seeing Formula Drift drivers all over the Internet, it doesn't mean that these guys are rich celebrities who have some servant around to do everything for them from buckling their seat belt to feeding them food. The latest episode of Drift Chronicles examines all the joys and not so joyous things that come along with getting to Formula Drift events. For his first Formula Drift event, Matt Powers street drove his car to the race. Ken Gushi couldn't pull that off because he was drifting professionally before he even had a driver's license. Of course, the best way to get to any Formula Drift event is to be in an RV with Corey Hosford, Chris Forsberg, and Jensen Argyle III. The comedy of Argyle's jean shorts is enough to make the hours pass quickly.

The Drift Chronicles wrap up their 2013 Formula Drift coverage in incredible fashion, by creating a parody of the Beastie Boys' "Sabotage" video. Filmed during the season-ending Formula D event at Irwindale Speedway, the video features Ryan Tuerck, Mike Essa, Corey Hosford, Jensen Argyle III, and more. There's some great action, but the best part of the parody clip is clearly the names of the drivers. Tuerck as Jackel Rey, Esq. Matt Powers as Brock Hambone. These are nicknames that need to stick. Also, Corey Hosford really likes fruit roll-ups.

The guys from Drift Idiot are back, and they're coming in hot on a motorcycle (er, moped). Corey Hosford and Jensen Argyle III (aka Dustin Millard) returned to do some wreckless hooning. They wake up Drift Idiot founder Sam Nalven in an incredibly creepy way, do some burnouts, kill some baby dolls, and rub side panels in a tag team drift. Like we said, coming in hot.

Sure, Matt Essa may have taken the Texas Motor Speedway Showdown on the Formula Drift circuit, but that wasn't all that went down at the event. Things get strange on this episode of "Off Track", mainly because of Jensen Argyle III's outfit and raving.
The 2013 Formula Drift season came to an end in Irwindale, California last weekend. While it's sad that we will be without drifting's showcase series for a little while, it's even harder to deal with the fact that we won't get to see the Off Track crew until Formula Drift returns. For Formula D's final stop at Irwindale, host Jarod DeAnda talks with drifters Daigo Saito and Robbie Nishida, Danger Andy talks with 2013 Formula Drift champion Mike Essa about his winning season, and Jensen Argyle III talks to strangers.
Also, Ryan Tuerck and Corey Hosford show that they really can drift anything, even a Razor Crazy Cart.
"If you're going to lose, rip someone's door off."
One of the highlights from last week's Formula Drift stop at Wall Speedway in New Jersey was the third place battle between Chris Forsberg and Darren McNamara. The two drifters collided on a right-hand turn and Forsberg's passenger side door was ripped off his car. Off Track's Jarrod DeAnda asked both drivers about the crash after the event. Forsberg actually didn't even realize he'd lost his door until he came into the next turn and saw all this light streaming into his car.
